The Berner Zeitung already speculated last week that Marti might be one of the players that the Bears have signed for the upcoming season. The 23-year-old defenseman has already played two games for SC Bern this season, recording one assist.

Marti is a product of Lausanne HC's organization. He has been part of SC Langenthal since the 2016-17 season. This season, he has appeared in 16 games for Langenthal but has yet to put his name on the scoresheet.
