Bärtschi will also work as a coordinator for the Young Flyers. The 33-year-old had to hang up his skates last January because of medical reasons. A hip injury he suffered at the end of November 2016 made it impossible for him to play professional hockey.
Bärtschi made his first steps in professional hockey with EHC Kloten. He thus returns to his roots. He will be Kloten's new Head of Strategic Development as of the 2018-19 season.
