EHC Biel's Philipp Wetzel is under review for a potential check to the head of HCD's Dario Simion in the 5th minute of play. Simion had to throw in the towel after the hit and is dealing with a suspected concussion.
In addition to Wetzel, the league has initiated proceedings against EHCB's Marco Maurer for the same reason. The potential check to the head of HC Davos forward Yannick Frehner took place in the 45th minute of play.
EV Zug's Johann Morant (photo) is under investigation for a potential head-butt against ZSC Lions' Chris Baltisberger in the 39th of play. ZSC's Mike Künzle, on the other hand, could be suspended for a potential charging or boarding against EVZ's Garrett Roe in the 18th minute of play.
