Lorenz Kienzle has been suspended for a total of three games and fined with CHF 5,230.- for a slashing against HC Lugano's Jani Lajunen in the 38th minute of play in Game 5 of the quarterfinal series. The 29-year-old defenseman will thus miss the first three games of the 2018-19 season with his future team, HC Ambrì-Piotta.

HCD's Gregory Sciaroni, on the other hand, has picked up a four-game suspension and fine of CHF 6,400.- for a crosscheck against EHC Biel's Mauro Dufner in the 20th minute of play in Game 5 of the quarterfinal series. As the 28-year-old winger already sat out one game, he will thus miss the first three games of next season, under contract with SC Bern.
