The incident happened in the 49th minute of Monday's Game 4 of the semifinal series between EHC Biel and HC Lugano and it could turn out very costly for the Seelanders. Their 32-year-old top scorer from the regular season (42 points in 47 games) might face further sanctions.
With eight points (two goals, six assists) over the course of the current playoff campaign, Pouliot is currently EHC Biel's third-best scorer behind Finn Toni Rajala and youngster Dominik Diem.
