The departures of imports Maxim Noreau (ZSC Lions) and Mika Pyörälä (back to Liiga's Oulun Kärpät) were already known. Mason Raymond and Juhamatti Aaltonen will also leave Bern, although their destinations are unclear so far. According to the Finnish website MTV, Aaltonen's agent Juuso Pulliainen says they are still looking for a new team for next season and the Finn might even remain in Switzerland.

As for the non-import players, it is already known that Simon Bodenmann (ZSC Lions) and Luca Hischier (HC Davos) will leave. Back in December, Reto Kirchhofer (Berner Zeitung) suggested that with the signing of Matthias Bieber the two forwards Gian-Andrea Randegger and Dario Meyer might have to leave, and now Der Bund reports them as departures as well. Two youngsters, Bernd Wolf and Tim Dubois, will also not be part of the team next season. They both mostly played with EHC Visp via B-license during the past term.

Bern is likely to go into the new season with only four imports. Besides Mark Arcobello and Andrew Ebbett, it is reported that the club might have signed Swede Adam Almquist and Slovene Jan Muršak. However, there has been no official announcement yet.
