As EHC Biel's team manager Martin Steinegger tells the Berner Zeitung in an interview, a signing of Czech forward Roman Červenka would be "utopian".

Yesterday, the Bieler Tagblatt reported that Biel is interested in signing Roman Červenka. However, as Steinegger tells the Berner Zeitung, a signing would be utopian. "We did the math. It is not our philosophy to simply waste money. We intend to use it reasonably, I want to make a lasting impact", the 46-year-old says.

The Czech forward played for HC Fribourg-Gottéron the last two seasons, recording 34 goals and 63 assists in 91 games. He will leave Fribourg.
