After extending Jim Slater's contract, HC Fribourg-Gottéron is still looking for a fourth import-player - and is waiting for Reto Berra (photo) to make a decision about his future.

Team manager Christian Dubé has a clear idea of what kind of import-player he is looking for: "A winger, who can help out in the center," Dubé explains in La Liberté (relayed by SwissHabs). "Someone who is able to replace Roman Cervenka on our power play. I'm waiting for an answer, but it's going well," he says. Dubé, however, also says that it is not going to be Czech forward Michal Repik, who they released from his contract last summer after Reto Berra decided to stay abroad.

If Reto Berra will return to Switzerland next season and join Fribourg is still not clear. The 31-year-old has not made up his mind yet. If Berra decides to stay in North America, the Dragons will sign a goaltender as their fifth import-player, the Freiburger Nachrichten writes. Otherwise, they will start the new season with four imports. "It all depends on Reto," Dubé says. "I expect his decision in the upcoming weeks."
