Franzén and Ehlers worked together in Lausanne for two seasons and thus know each other very well. With Marco Bayer named team manager, Ehlers is free to add another assistant coach to the team and, at least according to Zaugg, Franzén is the ideal candidate for the position.
The 50-year-old Swede worked for Lausanne HC for the past three seasons. Prior to that, he worked for AIK IF in various capacities.
