Rumors about Reto Suri joining HC Lugano for the upcoming season surfaced yesterday. EV Zug now makes it clear that he will stay with the Bulls.

Lugano had indeed asked Zug's management to acquire the rights to Suri effective immediately. However, the Bulls were not willing to let him go to the Ticino. The 29-year-old forward will honor his current deal and stay with Zug at least until the end of the 2018-19 season.

RSI and La Regione reported yesterday that Suri had signed a new deal with HC Lugano, which would keep him there for three years. Suri denied the report later in the day to Blick, stating that discussions were ongoing. However, now it is clear that he will definitely not leave the Bulls.
