The basis of his philosophy is simple he says: to play, to love, to excel. He wants to create a culture which will make everyone feel connected. "This involves a personalized development for the young players, in four dimensions: the physical, hockey skills (skating, skill, speed, reading the game), but also the overall potential of the player and his personal development."

Fust returned to Lausanne HC in February 2018 after a three-year absence. He took over the first team from Yves Sarault for the remainder of the 2017-18 season. Now, he will develop a new strategy for the junior section of the team.
