According to a report from the Corriere del Ticino, HC Lugano is interested in the services of 27-year-old forward Josh Jooris.

Jooris, a Canadian citizen with a Swiss player's license, is apparently one of the Bianconeri's main targets on the players market right now. In addition to finding an import-defenseman for the upcoming season, they are also willing to strengthen their core of Swiss players.

The Bianconeri, however, are not the only team in Switzerland that is interested in Jooris. In mid-April, the Tribune de Genève reported that Jooris is also on the very top of Chris McSorley's list. Jooris had already been rumored to join Genève-Servette HC last year, but then joined the NHL's Carolina Hurricanes.

Most recently, Jooris has been a member of the Pittsburgh Penguins, after he was traded to last year's Stanley Cup champions at the trade deadline. He has not recorded a single point in the nine games for them. Over the course of the season, he has played for four teams: the Carolina Hurricanes, the Penguins, and their respective farmteams in the AHL.
