What has already been reported earlier is now confirmed: The SCL Tigers have signed Canadian forward Chris DiDomenico to a two-year contract.

In his contract, the 29-year-old has an option to stay in the Emmental for an additional year. "Chris is an absolute leader and wants to win every game," team manager Jörg Reber says. "His energy and his fighting capacity will help the team grow." The SCL Tigers thus start with five import-players into the 2018-19 season: Mikael Johansson, Eero Elo, Harri Pesonen, Aaron Gagnon, and Chris DiDomenico. Cam Barker and Andreas Thuresson will definitely not be back for the upcoming season.

After playing with the NHL's Ottawa Senators and the Tampa Bay Lightning's AHL-affiliate Syracuse Crunch, DiDomenico was traded to the Rockford IceHogs, Chicago's AHL-affiliate, where he played for the last five months. In 35 games for them, DiDomenico recorded 15 goals and 26 assists.
