By signing his first professional contract, the 20-year-old homegrown talent will thus suit up for the Bianconeri at least until 2020. His contract is valid for both HC Lugano in the National League and the HCB Ticino Rockets in the Swiss League. Vedova will take part in HC Lugano's preparation for the new season. If he is going to start the 2018-19 season with Lugano or with the Rockets will be decided by the end of the summer.

In the past season, the 20-year-old forward mainly suited up for the Ticino Rockets. In 41 regular season games with them, he recorded 13 points (five goals, eight assists). Vedova then spent the playoffs with HC Lugano. In 18 games, he was able to score one goal.
