What Watson's Klaus Zaugg already reported, is now confirmed. After his contract with EHC Kloten lost its validity due to Kloten's relegation, Timo Helbling remains in the National League and moves from EV Zug to Rapperswil. "As a person and a player, he is a perfect fit for our team," Lakers head coach Jeff Tomlinson says about their new acquisition.

Since 2016, the now 36-year-old Helbling had played for EV Zug. Over the course of the past season, he appeared in 33 games for the Bulls, in which he recorded three points (one goal, two assists).
