The 31-year-old forward will be out of the lineup for five more games, as he already served one game of his original sentence. The Swede had been suspended for a check from behind against HC Lugano's Maxim Lapierre in late April. Pettersson scored 33 goals and 32 assists in 63 games for the Lions last season.
