The collaboration agreement was signed on Wednesday afternoon by both parties and will thus come into effect immediately. The two clubs will provide more detailed information about the partnership in a press conference tomorrow.

According to Le Nouvelliste, HC Sierre will benefit from various young players from Genève-Servette HC in the upcoming season, so they are able to compete for a promotion to the Swiss League sometime soon. Possible candidates are the Valaisan players from Geneva's Elite-A team: Mathieu Vouillamoz, Léo Agrusti, David Zeiter and Steve Burgener.

In addition to players from the Elite-A, some players who were already able to gain some experience in the National League might join the team in the MySports League.
