The leadership of the SCL Tigers is convinced that the two jobs - coaching the SCL Tigers and the Danish national team - will not get in the way of each other. Head coach Heinz Ehlers will only be away for the international break in February, assisant coach Rikard Franzén is going to join the national team only shortly before the next World Championship.
Heinz Ehlers has been the SCL Tigers' head coach since 2016 and just extended his contract with the club for another season. Rikard Franzén, on the other hand, only moved to the Emmental this summer after having spent four seasons with Lausanne HC.
