The Dragons concluded the past season with a small profit of CHF 6,720 and managed to return to black numbers. However, due to extraordinary expenses in connection with the construction of the new arena, which had to be recorded per April 30, 2018, the result turned into a deficit of CHF 213,432.

As for the construction of the new BCF Arena, the project of the new arena has entered a new phase during the financial year 2017-18. The club will try to reduce the negative impact of the construction on the fans as much as possible and keep up their business as usual, although there is going to be a transition phase in the upcoming two seasons.
