About a week ago, the Blick reported that the Lakers were interested in the young forward. Now, the Rosenstädter have made it official: The 21-year-old, whose contract with Genève-Servette HC ran out at the end of the past season, moves to Rapperswil, where he will stay at least through the upcoming 2018-19 season.

Schweri returned to Switzerland and joined Genève-Servette HC in 2016 after a two-year stint with the Sherbrooke Phoenix in the QMJHL, one of Canada's junior leagues. Since his return, the former youth player of EHC Kloten suited up in 77 games for Geneva and recorded 22 points (four goals).
