"We will have to sit down and discuss a few things, but the interest is mutual," Dubé tells La Liberté. As for assistant coach Dean Fedorchuk, the former forward will negotiate with him once the talks with French are done.
Asked about the risk to extend a coach's contract before the start of the season, as they have done with Hans Kossmann, Dubé only states: "It is a calculated risk. Everyone has a good feeling about Mark. Why wait?"
Mark French also tells the same source that he and his family like it in Fribourg. The 47-year-old Canadian joined the Dragons in summer 2017. His two-year contract with the National League team will expire at the end of this season.
