Huguenin joined Langnau from EHC Biel in January 2017 and will stay with the Tigers until 2021. Team manager Marco Bayer says that he "has a lot of what we expect from a young, aspiring defenseman. He still has a lot of potential for development". Bayer also adds that with Langnau, Huguenin will be able to take on an important role and also take over more responsibility.

In 360 National League-games for the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers, Biel, HC Fribourg-Gottéron and the Tigers, Huguenin managed to score 24 goals and assisted on 96 more. He also suited up 90 times in the Swiss League for his youth team, HC La-Chaux-de-Fonds, recording 13 goals and 32 assists.
