Die Südostschweiz reported earlier today that the guest fans would not have their own section until the end of the construction works in November 2020. HC Davos now releases a statement regarding the subject matter, stating that - for now - there will only be no guest section until the end of 2018.
Markus Glarner, HC Davos' media spokesman, also confirms to Die Südostschweiz that the fans of the away team will not be allowed to gather in the stands of the west side of the arena due to security reasons - it is a section for families.
"We still want to have guest fans," Glarner states. However, they will check group reservations for tickets in order to prevent the fans from gathering elsewhere in the arena. Once the construction works on the north side of the stadium are finished, the Vaillant Arena will have a guest sector again.
