The Neue Zürcher Zeitung already reported in mid-August that the bidding war for the Swiss international would be well underway, with Lausanne HC, SC Bern, EV Zug, and of course HC Davos on board.

With the ZSC Lions, another National League team has entered the race for the 25-year-old center. "We are interested in Enzo Corvi," ZSC's team manager Sven Leuenberger confirms to Watson's Klaus Zaugg. "But he's currently not holding any talks."

In Zürich, Corvi could step in for Pius Suter, who might leave the Lions at season's end: "Pius Suter wants to try his luck in the NHL and will probably not renew his expiring contract. He has been telling us this for quite some time and that's okay for us. If he moves to the NHL, we need a center for next season," Leuenberger adds.

Still according to Zaugg, SC Bern's CEO Marc Lüthi has supposedly set an upper limit for Corvi's contract offer. "I can neither confirm nor deny this story. I'm not talking about money," Lüthi tells the same source. Corvi, for his part, seems to have no time for any contract talks at the moment. Whether he is going to make a decision until international break in November remains to be seen.
