Blick's Dino Kessler confirmed the rumors yesterday, the club's confirmation followed a day later. After not making the initial roster of the Anaheim Ducks, Anton Rödin was placed on unconditional waivers to terminate his NHL-contract. As HC Davos is in injury-related trouble regarding their import players, they took the chance and signed the 27-year-old. He left the National League-team at the end of last season to try his luck in North America again.

The Swede signed a contract until the end of this season. He is expected to arrive in Switzerland on Sunday and there is a chance he will already be in Davos' lineup on Friday, October 12, for the clash against HC Ambrì-Piotta.
