As the Tigers' team manager Marco Bayer confirmed to Zaugg, Berger is on their radar as a possible acquisition. However, Berger's contract with SC Bern is still valid until the end of the upcoming 2019-20 season.

As SCB's team manager Alex Chatelain says to the same source, they might actually be open to letting Berger go: "If Alain Berger approaches us and expresses his wish to leave, then we'll talk about it," he says. But for that to happen, Langnau would have to adopt Berger's contract in full, Chatelain adds.
Alain Berger, the younger brother of SCL Tigers captain Pascal Berger, has had three assists in eleven games this season so far.
