Defenseman Morris Trachsler confirmed to Blick that he has hung up his skates after the relegation with EHC Kloten last season. Over the course of his career, the 34-year-old appeared in 797 games with the ZSC Lions, Genève-Servette HC, and EHC Kloten. He celebrated the Swiss championship with the Lions in 2014 and won the silver medal at the World Championships in 2013.

Peter Guggisberg, on the other hand, hopes to continue his career after another knee-injury. The 33-year-old forward has been practicing with the EVZ Academy for three weeks now, his agent Sven Helfenstein tells Blick. It is, however, not certain if Guggisberg will ever be able to play with his knee problems, Helfenstein says.
