Antti Törmänen will remain head coach of EHC Biel until the end of the 2020-2021 season. The Finn joined Biel on December 11, 2017, replacing Mike McNamara.
"Antti has identified with EHC Biel's conditions and philosophy since his arrival in Biel. With his calm but determined leading style, Antti was able to develop the team. We are looking forward to the continued cooperation", Biel's team manager Martin Steinegger comments on the extension.
"I felt right away nicely welcomed to EHC Biel. I have been really enjoying coaching the players and working in this organization with great staff around me. I am glad that we have a possibility to continue our work together in Biel next two years.
Many of our players have improved their game a lot. The team has taken major steps as well and we have seen great progress. It feels good to be part of this and continue our journey together", the coach himself has to say.
