Neukom, 27, joined the Tigers from HC Fribourg-Gottéron in summer last year and has appeared in 68 games for them ever since (twelve goals, nine assists). "We're happy that Beni Neukom will stay with us for another two years. He brings a lot of speed, intensity, and energy into the game," Langnau's team manager Marco Bayer states.

Youngster Rüegsegger, on the other hand, made his National League debut for the Tigers in the 2016-17 season. Since then, the 20-year-old left winger has appeared in 42 games for Langnau (four points) as well as 22 games on loan with SC Langenthal, recording five goals and one assist.

In addition, the club has signed Rihards Melnalksnis, a 20-year-old Latvian forward from their own youth department, to a long-term rookie contract until 2022. "With the contract extension of both Stefan and Rihards, we want to continue the concept of developing our own talents and integrating them into the first team," Bayer adds.
