After reports about a possible extension in the last few weeks, EHC Biel and Finnish forward Toni Rajala have now officially agreed on a three-year contract renewal.

"With consistent and strong performances, Toni has solidified his status as a fan favourite. We are looking forward to three more years with Toni", team manager Martin Steinegger comments on the signing.

"I'm really excited to stay three more years in Biel and play in front of the best fans in Switzerland", the 27-year-old Finn himself had to say.

The Finn joined Biel from SHL's Luleå in 2016. Since his arrival, he has played 117 National League games, recording 52 goals and 45 assists. Currently Biel's top scorer, he has found the back of the net nine times so far this season and assisted on ten more goals.
