"Santeri is one of our top-4-defenceman," EVZ's team manager Reto Kläy says. "Also thanks to his character, he's an important pillar on and off the ice." The Finn with a Swiss player's license joined EV Zug five years ago for the 2013-14 season and is currently in his sixth season in Zug.
Over the course of the current season, the 28-year-old appeared in 19 games for EVZ, in which he scored five goals and added four assists. His nine points make him the EVZ's top scoring defenceman.
