Lüthi's "yes" to a contract extension with EHC Biel is also a "no" to the SCL Tigers, who were interested in acquiring the forward. "In Biel, I have found everything I've ever wished for," he states. "I'm looking forward to wearing the Biel jersey for another two seasons."

The 29-year-old joined the Seelanders back in 2015 after two seasons with HC Ambrì-Piotta. Since then, he has appeared in 179 games in yellow and red and put up a total of 45 points (18 goals).
