The 21-year-old will thus leave the ZSC Lions at the end of the current season and embark on a new adventure at the shores of Lake Geneva. "He's a player that we have been following for years," GSHC's head coach Chris McSorley says and adds: "One of the best prospects in the National League".

With Roger Karrer, the ZSC Lions lose a homegrown talent. The young defenceman made his National League debut for the Lions in the 2014-15 season and has played a total of 96 games since. He put up eleven assists, but is still waiting for his first goal in Switzerland's top-tier league.
