The SCL Tigers have found a reinforcement for their offense in EHC Biel forward Julian Schmutz. He has signed a two-year contract.

A Tiger as of next season: Julian Schmutz.

The 24-year-old was on the Tigers' radar for a couple of weeks already. Now, they confirm that they have reached an agreement with Julian Schmutz. The forward has put his signature under a two-year contract, which keeps him in Langnau at least until 2021.

In Langnau, Schmutz wants to take the next step and take on more responsibility. "With his dedication, Julian can become an important pillar on our team," SCL Tigers team manager Marco Bayer says.

This season, the young forward appeared in 20 regular season games with EHC Biel, in which he put up a total of six points (all assists).
