HC Fribourg-Gottéron keeps the home-grown talent for another three years. Killian Mottet has renewed his contract, which would have run out in 2020, until 2023.

In a total of 325 games so far for Fribourg, Mottet has recorded 71 goals and 83 assists. He has also played for the Swiss national team, putting up four goals in 19 games.

The 27-year-old has been a part of the Dragons for most of his career. He spent his junior time with Fribourg and also made his National League-debut in the 2009-2010 season. The year after, he was mostly playing on loan for HC Sierre, before spending a season with both Lausanne HC and HC Ajoie. In 2013, he returned to Gottéron and has been part of them ever since.
