Michel Riesen and René Müller will thus take over from Arno Del Curto's former assistant coaches Sandro Rizzi and Remo Gross, who stepped in for the game of the Swiss Ice Hockey Cup against the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers. The two were released from their task at their own request, the club announces.
Furthermore, HCD's sports commission is working on evaluating new coaching staff. "Although the time is pressing, they want to take the necessary time to make the right decision," it says in the press release. For now, Davos will face Genève-Servette HC on Friday and SC Bern on Saturday with Riesen/Müller behind the boards.
