Although his contract is still valid until the end of the 2019-20 season, Tristan Scherwey clearly states that he wants to sign an early contract extension: "In the past ten years, I haven't thought about a transfer for a second," the forward says. "The SCB is my club - and it will stay that way." The 27-year-old says that he would like to sign a new multi-year deal in Switzerland's capital city.

Only the NHL would be an alternative for Scherwey: "Yes, the NHL is a dream," he says to the same source. "It's my wish to get a chance to take part in a training camp, to showcase myself in North America." He also hopes that SC Bern would let him leave in case he receives an offer vom overseas: "I don't have an out-clause, but i hope SCB would be open to discuss the matter with me."
