On December 5, HC Ambrì-Piotta filed an appeal concerning the decision of the Player Safety Office and of the single judge not to open an ordinary procedure against SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers' player, Jorden Gähler, who hit Patrick Incir to the head on November 30. Incir sustained a broken jaw and is expected to be back in a couple of weeks.

The SIHF now announces that the Court of Sport of the SIHF has rejected the request of the club and will not enter into the matter to evaluate the episode. The decision taken in the first instance, therefore, remains valid.
