"I feel like a Davoser, the HCD is my team," the 31-year-old Marc Wieser says about the multi-year contract extension with his youth team. "We are currently going through a difficult phase, but I'm convinced that we can find our way out of this and take a step into a positive future."

Also Marc's younger brother Dino Wieser, 29, does not want to leave the club: "We want to be part of it, when something new is going to be built here in Davos over the next few years."

Over the course of his career, Dino Wieser has never played for another team than HC Davos. Marc, on the other hand, left Davos for EHC Biel back in 2011, but returned to the mountains after three seasons in the Seeland.
