The 31-year-old defenseman has been informed by HC Fribourg-Gottéron that his contract will not be extended.

After seven seasons with the Dragons, Sebastian Schilt will have to find himself a new team, Pierre Schouwey (La Liberté) reports. This season, Schilt appeared in 23 games for Gottéron so far, in which he recorded one goal and four assists.

Over the course of his his career, the 31-year-old has suited up in 591 games in the National League for Geneva, Langnau, and Fribourg. He has put up a total of 106 points (18 goals, 88 assists).
