In his first press conference as head coach of the ZSC Lions, Arno Del Curto spoke about his decision to take over in Zurich.

The 62-year-old confirms that he is ready to be a part of the ZSC Lions' organization: "I don't want to do what I did in Davos ever again, I'll do my job," he says, asked if it is even possible for him to be just a head coach and work with team manager Sven Leuenberger and CEO Peter Zahner.

After 22 years in Davos, Arno Del Curto as coach of another team seems almost surreal, but Zurich seems to be the right fit: "I love the ZSC, I love Zurich - I think so, yes," Del Curto says, when asked if his head is already free for a new challenge like this. "I've had six, seven, eight weeks off, that did me good."

Del Curto's contract with the Lions is valid until the end of the season. And then? "We will sit together when the season is over," team manager Leuenberger says. Del Curto adds that it is possible that he will stay on: "If we're playing well, this will go on. If we're playing badly, then I'll visit this press conference as a guest next year."
