The 30-year-old American has signed a contract with EV Zug, which is valid until the end of the current season.

"He's an experienced, technically skilled player," EVZ's team manager Reto Kläy says about his new player. "He can help us compensate the absences of Carl Klingberg and David McIntyre." Flynn is expected to arrive in Zug on Thursday and could make his debut in their road game against the ZSC Lions on Friday.

For the past one and a half seasons, Brian Flynn has played in the AHL for the Texas Stars and, most recently, for the San Antonio Rampage in the organization of the St. Louis Blues. Before that, the 30-year-old has played 282 games in the NHL for the Buffalo Sabres and the Montréal Canadiens, in which he recorded 64 points (28 goals).
