Team manager Marco Bayer hopes to sign the defenceman, but Langnau is not the only team interested.

An option for a few teams next season: Sebastian Schilt

The SCL Tigers have offered Sebastian Schilt a two-year contract, as Watson writes. Not re-signed by his current team HC Fribourg-Gottéron, the defenceman will be a free agent in summer and Langnau's team manager Marco Bayer has taken interest in the 31-year-old, hoping to be able to officially announce a deal next week.

The Tigers are Schilt's youth team, but he left them at age 17 to join Genève-Servette HC. In 2010, he returned to Langnau for two years before signing with Fribourg.

There are other teams interested in the defenceman as well. EHC Biel's team manager Martin Steinegger confirms an interest, as they hope to replace the departing Marco Maurer. Apparently, the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers also would like to sign Schilt.
