According to Klaus Zaugg, the forward has signed a contract with a Swiss team. His agent denies the report.

Vincent Praplan is currently under contract with the NHL's San Jose Sharks and playing for their AHL-affiliate, the Barracuda. His contract runs out in summer.

As Klaus Zaugg writes on Watson, several teams in Switzerland are interested in acquiring the forward. According to his source, a deal has been inked, presumably with HC Lugano. Apparently, it would be for at least three years and with a rather high salary.

However, Praplan's agent Georges Müller has denied the report, tweeting that a return to Switzerland is out of the question for the time being.

After this strong rebuttal, Müller clarified in an answer that it might still be an option in case there is no offer in North America in summer.

Praplan has suited up 25 times for the San Jose Barracuda so far this season, recording four goals and ten assists. Prior to leaving for North America, he was with EHC Kloten for four years.
