The Finnish forward, formerly part of Liiga's Jukurit Mikkeli, will be with the Lions for the remainder of the season.

Lausanne HC has signed their sixth import player of the season in Mika Partanen. This will be the second time outside of his home country the 26-year-old Finn, the first one being two years with the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors of the Canadian OHL from 2010 to 2012. For most of his career, Partanen was part of IFK Helsinki, occasionally being loaned to teams in the second highest league in Finland, Mestis.

In 278 Liiga-games, the forward recorded 55 goals and 58 assists. During his time with Mississauga, he made 141 appearances, putting up 36 goals and 31 assists.

Partanen will be eligible to Lausanne as soon as administrative details have been resolved.
