The goaltender's contract with HC Davos expires at the end of the season.

"What happens next season has yet to be determined," Joren van Pottelberghe tells the Luzerner Zeitung. Davos remains an option or EV Zug. However, the latter seems unlikely, as he "would rather play than watch Genoni."

Van Pottelberghe, who was drafted by the Detroit Red Wings, is currently playing on loan from Davos for EHC Kloten. In 18 games for them, he has posted a .928 save percentage.
