The defenseman is frustrated with the situation he is in with the SCL Tigers, as he tells Der Bund.

"It is not nice going to work day after day, even though the boss doesn't want you to come," Randegger states. "The coach doesn't like me, doesn't talk to me. I have to accept that." According to the newspaper, head coach Heinz Ehlers was not willing to comment on the defenders' statements,

There were talks with the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers before yesterday's deadline for Swiss player transfers, but they apparently did not come to fruition. Randeggers' contract is valid until the end of the 2019-20 season, but as La Regione already reported two weeks ago and Der Bund now reiterates, he will definitely have to leave this summer.

In other news, it is conceivable that the Tigers also might try to sign an import goaltender before the import-player transfer deadline, so that they have someone available should Damiano Ciaccio suffer an injury.
