Julien Vauclair close to extending his contract with Lugano

With his contract running out at the end of the season, the 39-year-old defenseman already announced to Rete Uno in November that he is not yet ready to hang up his skates and that he would like to play for another year. His wish seems to become true.

As his brother Geoffrey said on "Les Puckalistes", a broadcast on La Télé (relayed by RSI), Vauclair is indeed close to ink another one-year deal with HC Lugano, of which he has been part for fifteen consecutive seasons now.
