Lucas Matewa likes it in Lugano

Having mostly played for the HCB Ticino Rockets this past season (38 games), but also for HC Lugano (two games) and their Elite Juniors (16 games), Matewa has earned himself his first professional contract, a three-year deal.
The 19-year-old joined Lugano's organization in 2016. Before that, he was suiting up for Lausanne HC's juniors, followed by two years with HC Fribourg-Gottéron. Matewa is also a frequent member of Swiss junior national teams.
