Laurent Meunier puts an end to his career.

La Liberté already reported in January that he would have no future with the Dragons, but it is only now that it is clear that he will also retire at the end of the season.

Laurent Meunier has played in over 200 National League games, over 100 Swiss League games, over 200 games in the DEL and the Ligue Magnus, in almost 70 ECHL games and in about 50 SHL games throughout his career.

Meunier was also a permanent fixture in the French national team. He played 18 World Championships for them, 13 of which he served as captain of the team. This season, the Frenchman recorded five assists in 40 games for HC Fribourg-Gottéron.
